I Purchased a CONNECT3D 2GB SD flash card from BUY.COM in late January 2007. I really did not need a 2GB card, but I thought the deal sounded too good to pass up. I sent all required rebate material to the requested address the day I received the flash card. On March 28th, I received an email from CONNECT3D stating that my rebate was being processed and please allow 6 - 8 weeks for processing.

On 6/18/2007 I decided to call CONNECT3D with the phone number listed on the email. After several rings, the line just went dead. The same day, I decided to file a complaint with BUY.COM's customer service. I filled out the form. I received an automated response from BUY.COM customer service stating that it could take up to 2 business days for a reply (case #KMM965954I13900L0KM) I have heard nothing since.

I'm not sure who the worst offender is here. BUY.COM advertised the rebate and if CONNECT3D doesn't make good on the rebate, then BUY.COM should have the business sense to step in and reimburse their ripped off customers. Either way, I will not purchase anything else from BUY.COM until this matter is resolved. And I certainly will never trust CONNECT3D for anything.
