Complaint Review: Consulting Education Advisory LLC - Jackson Mississippi

I was recently hired at Consulting Education Advisory LLC.

Someone had posted earlier with this description which is identical to my situation.

So I received an email sometime early May about working from home. I responded to the email. Had an over the phone interview and then i started recieving packages. I served as a third party shipping. Im really upset because i worked for a whole month and now i wont recieve anything. I supposed to be paid out 2940 on June 22, 2018.

But this was not the case, also about 2 days after i shipped off the last package, I have yet to hear from tbe lady representative Anna Brown. My base pay was supposed to be 2500 month plus a $20 bonus when you ship off the packages.. I just want these people to be stopped. I wasted my time and money.. So beware of them they are scammers!!!!

"

This is EXACTLY what's happening now. I was suppose to be paid 07/11/2018 which was yesterday (as of writing this.) Have not recieved any form of contact.

This person was scammed by a company called Breshears Consulting LLC

Oddly enough when I first started working with Consulting Education Advisory LLC the employee login website was listed as

https://login.breshears.us/

About two weeks into working with them this link stopped working. So I went to their company website to see if there was another way to access an employee portal.

There website https://consedad.com/ is and identical rip-off of http://deltacapita.com/

They didn't even bother to change the names of the senior team members... That's when I grew suspisious in the first place. I looked up the Co-Founder listed on the fraudulent website and it brought me to his linkedin page. I followed it further and studied the websites side by side and I was shook. 

So about a day or two later they emailed me with a new link to use

It functioned exactly the same as the previous one, but was titled differently.

Notice the similarities?

The woman I spoke with periodically went by the name of Maria Smith. She had a foreign accent. Possibly Asian honestly. I confronted her with screenshots of the evidance I found pointing out that the website was fraudulent and she called me the next day to reassure me. It kind of worked honestly. I have no idea who these people are. What their goal is. Or why they do what they do.

KEY THINGS TO REMEMBER

I've noticed a pattern now in how they opporate and so to further avoid being scammed by these people look out for these things

- It's an LLC type of consulting

- You recieve a phone interview that seems very informal

- Spelling errors on the "company website"

- Check the founders page. Look up names. KNOW WHO YOU WORK FOR.

This was one of the first emails I got from this company. If you recieve one that matches this in the slightest don't risk it.

Prepare records of merchandise shipped.

Keep files of shipping records.

Trace missing or misplaced shipments.

Save receipts.

Provide daily/weekly reports using email and phone.
