Consumer Finance They took my money but provided no services as advertised For example the cover letter attached to the application stated "Get Cash In Hand 1-15 days! Fully Guaranteed! I mailed my application back 5/15/08 and as of 6/12/08 (almost 30 days) still have not received money, assistance or a refund Atlanta Georgia
When I inquired into the assistance with Consumer Finance, it advertised it dealt with Grants as well as loans. According to the cover letter that accompanied the application the benfits of being a Consumer Finance Client were:

I mailed in the application with the required $40 Processing Fee via check on 15 May 2008. On 22 May 2008 I received a letter from them thanking me for choosing them and that due to recent problems with personal checks being returned they had to wait until my check cleared my bank to process my application. On 4 June 2008 I contacted by bank and was told that my check to the company had cleared 23 May 2008. I tried calling the toll free number provided in the cover letter and found it to be a recording of the supposed services the company provided. No way to connect with their so called Customer Services as advertised in their paperwork (benefits package).
According to the benefits section of the letter you would receive a password to access their Client Login Page. A month later I have received no website to access much less a password to access it. I have had no correspondence from the company at all.
After not being able to reach the them by telephone or internet, I mailed them a letter requesting "My Money Back Guarantee" which I have never got an answer to. They have taken my money but provided no services whatsoever. I may not ever be able to be reimbursed, but I can voice to others to please don't fall for this scam.
