Consumer Legal Centers ripoff deceptive company Long Beach California
I can't tell you if Consumer Legal Centers (CLC) provides false hope to everybody, but they certainly did to me. I can also tell you that the customer "service" I recieved was disgraceful.
CLC lost a fax a sent them, but that's not the biggest problem. The biggest problem was I was told that I would be able to get the 50% settlement, no problem. However when hey finally did start the process, I was told the creditors wanted 85%. That's a little different from 50%
Also, I had to go down to the office to physically demand a fax that I had requested 3 days ago. I was tols I would be called back the next day, but no call. After I thanked them for their "great" customer service, I got a lame excuse from their representaive saying she needed to go home and take take of her kid. While I am sympathetic to child care, if I'm down there the day before, I a least expect a call from another person telling me they need more time.
My request for a 25% refund for shoddy service and not getting me anything near the advertised settlement has to this date gone un-answered by them.
My advise if to stay far away from these guys.
