Have you ever made a return at Costco? I spent my first year with the company as a refund clerk. And let me tell you, when we say we take everything and anything back if a Member is dissatisfied, we mean it. If you are have a problem with your canopy, even if the warranty is listed as only 30 days with the manufacturer, your satisfaction is guaranteed, 100%, and it has nothing to do with the manufacturer of the product. So, if you have seen "many" of these canopies around town, and they are Costco product, they do need to be returned. And, because Costco monitors the movement of product, it becomes very obvious when something has a defect, and then it is pulled from the shelf. So is the product you purchased a rip-off? Maybe. But is Costco? No. Please bring your product in for a refund and you will see that we don't get complaints about our return policy.

how can you state that costco is a rip-off...did you try contacting the warehouse manager or customer service... costco offers a 100% money back guarantee on ALL of its produtcs. If you need this in wrinting just ask customer service for a welcome brochure!
