Not knocking Jery on this, I would think that the corporate office should step in an mediate this dispute. I just want to throw in that I used a Cottman Transmissions in Greenville, SC back in 2003 for a transmission repair and found them to be very professional. They repaired a 1997 Chevy S-10 Auto transmission, asked me to bring it back in after a few weeks for a free check up just to verify everything was working correctly and that there were no leaks or anything missed. As I understand it, Cottman's warranties are NATIONAL warranties. I would recommend that you take it to another franchisee and explain the problems. Should you have to do this? No. However, what you want is the problem taken care of, and this may be the best way to do this. The Cottman on Bush River Rd in Columbia appears to be a different franchisee.
