Cottman's Transmission ripped of my money and never fixed my automobile properly. Ripoff! Detroit Michigan
It all started back in October 2004 when my 91 Toyota Camry wouldn't drive forward or drive backwards. So I ended up calling Cottman's Transmission - Detroit location and they knew exactly what the problem was and they assured me that they could fix it. After a month later my car wasn't still ready. No follow-up calls that would provide me any information in regards to the problem if there were still existed a problem with my car... zippo.
Now it's November around Thanksgiving and my automobile is still not ready. They reported that they were having a problem finding the correct parts for this vehicle. And then two weeks later, I rec'd a call that my car is ready. To my surprise this wasn't true. The same day I picked up my car the same thing happen again... can't drive forward or backwards. They have had my car in this shop ever since and it is now February 2, 2005 and they can't seem to understand my car or fix it.
In addition, to not giving me my money back so I can go somewhere else to have a more respected crew of mechanics who knows what they are doing and fix my car correctly. This has cost me lost of wages, money and time. I will totally agree that Cottman's Transmission needs to go out of business before someone blows them off the face of the earth and they will not have no other choice but to go out of business.
