After calling and giving the information that Courtesy Ford wanted, they never called me back. I took my car to another garage that deals in 4 wheel and they replaced the hubs with manual. I got ripped off twice as Shell Station on Platte Canyon did not know how to fix the hubs but charged me $600 for not doing it right. They also replaced the front breaks and did not do the bearings, another $400. The 4 wheel garage took care of the bearings. I hope I learn enough from this bad experience to never buy a car without having a mechanic go through it. But then, the mechanic I went to at Shell was not too great either. I guess it really is "Consumer beware." Maybe this story will help someone else.

When I filed my comment with rip off report I also emailed Elway Dealership. I received a call from Courtesy Ford this afternoon saying they are concerned and want to know more about this. I am happy to know that someone may care that I did not get what I paid for. Maybe I am incorrect and the dealer didn't know the car was not going into 4 wheel, although their mechanic should have checked that before sale. I will update again when I find out more. It would be wonderful to say something nice about the dealership. Let's see how it goes.

Still no 4 wheel drive. The mechanic called 4/4p.m. & they put the car back like the dealer had it. Only 2 wheel drive. They said it has been in a wreck and the hub modified. The dealer had to know this information when they sold the car to me. It is no better than stealing from someone.
