Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

As soon as you get on the gray hound bus to go to the school you are in for a rediculous experience.  After your bus ride (which may be up to 20 hours, I was lucky my ride was only 4 hours) you are herded onto an old smelly CR England bus for a  lovely ride through Gary, Indiana. Once you get to the school you and about 50 other people are herded down stairs where you are to leave all your belongings in an unlocked room for anyone to take. Next paperwork and your drug test. The drug test was really interesting being a woman. They have you go into a room to pee but they leave the door open for about 200 men to hear and see almost everything. I took it upon myself to tell them they have to close the door.

The physical for your CDl is the biggest joke ever. All the doctor looks for is that you have a head on your shoulders (it doesn't matter if your f*cked up in the head or not, I'm sure that's why there are so many reports of rape) and if you have two legs. The hearing test is also awesome. All you have to do is plug one ear at a time and repeat what some rude nurse says to you at a normal voice right in your face. Of course your going to be able to hear it. I had a better physical when I worked in a factory as a temp.

After being herded around the school, on and off buses for about 10 hours with no food or even a smoke brake you get to wait for a van to take you to your hotel. The hotel wouldnt have been so bad but there is still no food anywhere except a Denny's acrossed the highway (not a safe walk). I had to go almost 15 hours with no food until I decided one day of this sh*t is enough. Three weeks would kill me. I found my own way home that night. The next day I called my recruiter and of course she did not believe me. So thank you CR England for the experience I will never forget and will always regret.

It is quite obvious that you are employed by CR England. It is truly a shame that people such as yourself have to post rebuttals in defenses of a company who now has a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT filed against it.

There are hundreds of reports that confirm what this user has stated. Perhaps it is time for CR England to get it's act together and learn how to treat it employees in a fair manner.

Have a good day.

P.S

I was recruited by this outfit but decided to do some research before wasting my valuable time traveling to Indiana. I am glad I found this site and read the complaints. All the complaints are similar in nature. I'll pass on this opportunity and obtain my CDL license at a credited school, it mat cost me 2800.00 but I would rather spend this money than deal with a company such as this.

With respect to complaints about CR England, My experience thus far has been far different than the unflattering accounts noted, and in fact my experioence has been quite positive! I have nothing to gain here, nor do I seek favor herefore so this is objective and credible, nor do I have ANY such prior or existing relationship with them. My analysis I share out of a desire to see others NOT be disuaded based on what I consider to be anomolies. The company like any other employs "people," imperfect ones, and sometimes, things don't go as planned. I do not hold out some arbitrary "serial expectations" that I exist in some utopia. CR England was prompt courteous and attentive, their staff are luke warm to cordial most of the time, the facilities are quite nice, as well as the ammenities indicated in their offering. My level of satisfaction with CR England to date is quite positive given the logistical considerations they endure with such a comprehensive "labor support" module. Rarely do companies go to such tremendous lengths to cultivate valued employees, and even less often, is such an amount capital spent in so doing. If their culture of support remains consistent year to year I expect they will be among the top tier in their field for many years to come. I don't mind being contacted about the verasity of this statement, nor the credibility of the information upon which it is based. -Greg
