On Saturday 11/10/2007 I decided to participate on the Health Forums posted on Craigs list and while I was sharing my story of cancer recovery and how antioxidants have helped me to fight cancer and improve my life in general, I was banned 3 times by the Craigs list staff as if I was spamming... I read the terms and conditions of the craigs list website and nothing stated that sharing a perosnal story and recomending the use of antioxidants was against any of the terms and conditions... so, I decided to replay and the craigs list support staff did not even give me a chance to express myself; they just banned my account completely... They dont have a phone number or email address for people to contact them... how convinient!

This is the worst case of customer service that I have ever experienced... I shouldn't have given them a new chance when I saw that they did not want to help me find what was happening with a previous add that I tried to post at the end of Septemeber of 2007.

I do not understand why when companies get to be so big, they forget about treating customers right!

Did you really have to bait someone to open a door for you to spam your crap? Seriously. Your complaint is the you where allegedly somehow discriminated against which is hilarious unless you sent someone who runs craigslist a picture of someone who could possibly be discriminated against and said it was you and they then came back and somehow did discriminate against you. Anyway, all you had to do was explain your alleged experience. There was no need for a faux science lesson as we don't really care.

You're trying to sell something to someone. IF you wish to state an opinion, that's fine. But when you're trying to sell something to someone, that's a whole different matter. You CAN state something help you out, but even in this post you state "AND RECOMMENDING." YOU can't RECOMMEND **. That's real close to giving medical advice. YOU are RECOMMENDING something to someone, which YOU are unable to do for a whole host of reasons. If you don't see the difference, you probably never will. Even in your second post you're doing it. DON'T. IF someone does or doesn't have an effect from your advice, you can get sued. That's why craig'slist shut you down. If they allow it, they may be liable also. Good luck to you.

I would like to thank you for your feedback but I disagree with you in certain aspects: First of all: the word "antioxidants" is not spelled "antioxidents" or "anti oxixents"... that could have been a reason why you couldn't find online information about how antioxidants helping to fight cancer. Second: I can tell that you have never had cancer before and God forbids that you have to go through it. However, the first two things that the doctor does after you have been diagnosed with cancer is: 1) discuss with your treatment options and 2) how to improve your life style in general among other things your diet- in order to help your body recover from cancer treatment and fight cancer. Third: I would never ever think or intent to write or say that Cancer patients are stupid I really think that it is very impolite of you to assume that I could have said something that might have sounded that cancer patients are stupid. Fourth: here you have some quotes from some good websites about cancer and antioxidants, and even though there are some differences of opinions on whether or not the use of antioxidants help to fight cancer, there are plenty of new studies that really prove that it does help feel free to google your search: From: http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/antioxidantsprevention (I recommend you read the whole article: really informative) "2. Can antioxidants prevent cancer? Considerable laboratory evidence from chemical, cell culture, and animal studies indicates that antioxidants may slow or possibly prevent the development of cancer. However, information from recent clinical trials is less clear. In recent years, large-scale, randomized clinical trials reached inconsistent conclusions." From: (((link redacted))) "In earlier studies, researchers drew the conclusion that antioxidants should not be used because antioxidants protect cancer cells during chemotherapy. This hypothesis was based on experimental designs where cancer cells were given a single low dose micronutrient (like 65 mg. of vitamin C) just before the commencement of a series of conventional chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Cancer cells exposed to a single low dose micronutrient showed resistance to chemo and radiological therapeutic agent. It is extrapolated from this experimental observation that antioxidants will protect all cancer cells against conventional therapy and therefore should not be used. This conclusion is flawed in two ways: it assumes that cancer cell react the same to low dose as well as high dose antioxidant therapy. Secondly, it assumes that only one dose of antioxidant is given, while in real life, antioxidants as well as chemotherapies are usually given in series. More recent studies using antioxidants in the appropriate high and repeated doses showed that they actually improve the efficacy of tumor response to chemotherapy and radiological therapy. This is the total opposite of the earlier researches mentioned above. These later studies showed that antioxidants at high doses selectively inhibit the growth of cancer cells without affecting the normal cells. This hypothesis is now well tested in many cell cultures and in clinical trials and is widely accepted by nutritionally minded physicians". Last but not least: sharing the name of the natural antioxidants that I took and worked to my advantage is not selling! On the contrary, it is a way to help others experience the same benefits I encourage people like you to do more research before they emit an opinion. Thanks for taking the time to read my response. Carlos.

I bet your antioxidents story include a sales pitch. If you have cancer, anti oxidents don't fix it or cure it. Craigs list has forums to sell things, the health forum isn't it. AND, My guess is everyone on the health forum turned you in for doing sales and thinking people with cancer are stupid.
