I purchased a camera on the 14th Feb 2010 from this online company thinking it was a reputable dealer, I realise that they were based in the USA and that did not cause me concern. If I had known they were based elsewhere then I would not have ordered from them as I have always found this to be unreliable.
The camera I ordered a Panasonic Lumix FT1 is an underwater camera which I specifically wanted for my holiday to the Maldives and it registered in stock. I paid for the express delivery and was told 2 days. That evening a male with an Amerian accent called to check financial details and again I made them aware it was time critical. NO PROBLEM IT"S IN STOCK was the reply I got.
4 premium rate telephone calls to an unmonitored answer machine, almost 20 emails and currently 30 min on the appauling live chat with no reply and I still have no camera. Oh they took the money quickly enough but trying to get my cash back is proving to be like getting blood out of a stone.
I have now asked my bank to interveen and have raised a fraud claim as the debit is states it is from Coventry???
This site is a total and utter scam, playing on the public, somewhere someone is getting very rich from this scam!!!
