The person who wrote this is in correct about their facts - first of all Renae VanDyk had no ownership in Bills Made Simple ever. Worked there 9 weeks and quit because they were overloaded, taking too many files and not performing. The next issue is that this complainer doesnt express their complaint - this is suspicious because they do not explain the circumstances so that I can solve the issue or give a proper responose.
Quite often competitors will provide bogus complaints to ruin the reputation of a company. I believe this is the case here or the person would have explained the issue. First Assist Financial did assist homeowners until SB94 passed and then stopped taking new clients and finished up all old cases. There were many companies named First Assist with endings like First Assist One or First Assist, so even those complaints, unless specific are bogus.
No fees were collected past SB94 date by First Assist Financial or CRE Analytics on 1-4 unit properties.
CRE Analytics deals specifically with commercial loan restructuring. Here is the Department of Real Estate link that indicates SB94 relates to Residential properties with 1-4 units http://www.dre.ca.gov/pdf/SB94webannoucement(broker).pdf
Renae VanDyk is an advocate for property owners and has saved many people from foreclosure and restructured commercial loans nationwide to keep people in their businesses. Renae VanDyk has worked with Congressman Darryl Issa's office for government oversight complaints, Maxine Waters for Bank reform, FDIC for lack of banks following Policy statements from 2009. It's harmful when people post un informed information. With regard to background, this was a family matter that transpired 10 years ago and had nothing to do with business. If the person would be fair and register a true complaint and the issue, I am sure it can be rectified. This is the first ever complaint against CRE Analytics and I see no merit in it. I am not Licensed by the Department of Real Estate, therefore don't have licensing issues - however, I do understand the Senate Bill 94 as it relates to upfront fees. I have researched non SB94 related issues such as quiet title issues, respa violations, TIL violations and Title 15 issues, but unless this person can reveal their situation, it cant be solved. Commercial properties were not included in SB94.
One last thing, if I were violating any regulation from DRE I would get a cease and desist immediately from them. They are most certainly not backlogged or overloaded - the issue is I am not licensed, nor am I violating SB94 - these are 2 seperate issues. If the person would explain their situation, there is always a solution to every matter - be it resolution of their case or refund.
The only time a client is denied a refund is when they violate the contract, lie to us about their circumstance or don't follow through with documentation requirements. This person obviously didnt want to reveal why they were refused a refund, but no doubt it is either bogus or relates to their breach of contract.
