Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
The so-called "Credit Education Group," whom I now see have many more names, called me in early April, and convinced me that I needed a credit card with a limit of up to $3500, and no matter how many "no's" I gave out, they kept on throwing me another sales pitch, and being a former telemarketer (and knowing you only need two "no"s to hang up), you'd think I'd know better than to believe this nice lady was sincerely trying to help me out.

AND,.. I had told them that I don't want it if they can't get it to me within a week, the promised me that also,.. I must've talked to 5 different "managers," and the switched me off to so many people because I just would not give them a yes. Finally I did and they told me I would get it within a week.

And they proceeded to debit my account for $296, and like many of the stories go, I didn't get anything for a month, and when I did, it wasn't the credit card they so genuinely convinced me would be the answer to all my financial problems. It was a package with credit advice, and two applications, one for credit review and one for a credit card. Yes, I called and called and didn't get nothing but a recording that said "our representatives are currently assisting other customers..blah blah blah,.. please hold,.. blah blah"... immediately after that is a voicemail recording,.. after that I knew I've been had.

NO reputable company that I know says "please hold on the line and the next representative will be with you momentarily," and then go,"mail box for your party is full." WHAT?! don't make no sense. But anyway, I've already disputed the transaction with my bank and am waiting for a response from them. I wish the information given on this site was more obtainable, and posted up EVERYWHERE.

What I wouldn't give to get one of these Credit Ed. Group people back on the line (or in person). I'm not the type of person to wish bad things upon other people,.. but regarding those folks, I hope their deaths are slow and painful, so much that they look forward to rotting in hell.

I'm really not that mean, I just think that people like that encourage the distrust that's already too common.

Grace
