Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My story is almost identical to those who have already posted complaints here about creditgift.com. After getting the royal run-around from this company, I contacted the credit card company and was told that "not all people who apply for a credit card through creditgift.com fail to receive a gift. Therefore, there is no fraud." It then became apparent to me that creditgift.com is living up to their commitments in only a few cases, just to keep them "legit", unless of course, not "all people" are reporting their bad experience.

This may help some of you who are trying to contact creditgift.com: The representative at the credit card company gave me the following toll-free number for creditgift.com: 1-866-638-3547. I called that number, and of course, was met with a recording, and an option to leave voice mail. I left voice mail today for the first time, and now, I guess I'll just wait.... and wait.... and wait.... just as I have done for the past several months, expecting a reply to my many emails.

Another twist: recently creditgift.com has begun to require a password in order to access the gift status on their web site. You must type in your email address, and then type a password, after which you are supposed to receive an email message in which there should be a link to click on to activate your password. I went through this procedure 4 days ago, and have yet to receive email from creditgift.com. Now, I cannot even access the status of my gift. But, of course, we all know that the status would be "Pending"!

UPS arrived with my DVD player!

On the day that I submitted my original report to Ripoffreport.com, I was finally able to make contact with a representative at the toll-free phone number I posted in my initial report. I was informed that because of the overwhelming response to their free gift offer, creditgift.com was running behind in mailing the gifts. I was informed that my DVD player would be ordered that day and I should receive it within 14 days. On the following day, I was surprised to see UPS arrive with my DVD player! I also learned that the person who answered at the toll-free number I called is acting as liaison for American Express, so I am not certain that he would be able to help those of you who applied for one of the other credit cards. However, I think it is worth a try. If not, then call the credit card company who should be able to give you more information. I acquired the toll-free number by calling American Express. I hope this helps someone else to resolve their problem.
