Cricket Commuinications serves a niche for contract free cell phone service but my problem is ending my account. There are no options for ending my cricket account. No matter what, I cant get anyone to talk to me at Cricket. All I get is the automated telephone shuffle. On the website I am referred to the 1-800 number which has no option for ending service. The only option seems to be to not pay the bill.

Customers who subscribe to Cricket should understand there is no good way to conclude your business with Cricket. That's not the kind of customer support I would like to see when I pay the $51.76 per month. Call me disappointed in Phoenix.

Frustrated with the automated system, huh?

I can understand your frustration with the automated system. However, it's actually quite easy to disconnect your service with Cricket. This is a link to the options on the automated system... mycricket.com/AutoVMInstructions_popup.php Unfortunately, you won't find an option for "Disconnect" or "Cancel account". The quickest way to get to a representative is: 1) Press option 2 for "Billing" 2) Press the LAST option for a representative (should be option 3). 3) When the Cricket Billing representative answers your call, tell them you want to disconnect your account. They will transfer you to the team that disconnects/cancels accounts. That's all there is to it. Now that wasn't so bad, was it? Tell me how it goes...
