I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you. I hope that I can explain some things that may be confusing about authorized Cricket payment locations. First of all, what happened to you is quite rare. I worked in Customer Service for almost a year and encountered a problem like yours only once before. However, this situation is different because you didn't keep your receipt. Since you didn't keep your receipt, you have no confirmation/proof that payment was made, even though it might have posted to your account. What happened was that your payment went through the system, but was reversed due to Cricket not getting all the funds for payments made that day. I agree that it was Pager Warehouse's fault that your payment didn't completely post like it should have. I also agree that the payment location should be held responsible and eat the cost associated with your issue. However, in this situation, not keeping your receipt got the best of you. That is why it always "pays" to keep ALL records of your payments made to ANY company. If you had your receipt, you'd be able to fight this to your satisfaction. Unfortunately, there might not be anything that you can actually do about it though. Was it the same place that you always make payments at? Also, was the person who took your payment that day there when you went back to the store? Also, you said that "my monthly payment had been raised". Do you mean that your bill doubled, or it had risen by a few dollars?
