What has happened here is a case of IDENTITY THEFT. If you use a computer at home, it's possible that your computer was hacked somehow and your credit card number was given to the hackers. Have you used that same credit card on a website recently? Here are some tips for you to move forward now: If your card was an actual CREDIT card and not a "credit/debit" card, you need to file a dispute with your credit card issuing bank (contact the customer service number on the back of your card). Some credit card issuers include a dispute form on the back of your monthly statement along with instructions for filing a dispute. If it was a debit card, you need to file a dispute with your bank. What the last guy told you about getting a copy of your credit card statement and having them fax it to one of their offices is TRUE. That is the correct process. Again, contact your credit card's issuing bank regarding the dispute process to help this move along. Hope that helps....
