I understand completely. Your comment supports my personal experience with them. I live in San Diego, & often cross over to Tijuana. While the distance in the two cities is less than 10 miles, T-Mobile my primary cell provider wants to charge roaming fees, etc. I obtain a Cricket Pay-Go phone as an alternate. However, MOST EVERY TIME, I required service from Cricket because of a device problem I have been directed to a "Cricket Corporate Store" for solutions that T-Mobile & other carriers I have dealt with have the ability to do over the phone. I should not have to travel all across town for service support. At a least. they should invent in training their major authorize sales centers & overseas support to provide equal or better service to their competitors.

keep in mind, they do not have their own network, they just sell time on other networks
they make their money by fooling customers into thinking they have the best plan to offer
