Dan, Red flags should have gone up. You stated the seller was Cristian George Cheratoiu. Yet the "square trade" letter says: "Elena Georgiana Butucelea" has a US $3,500.00 deposit in an eBay managed purchase protection account. Perhaps you didn't notice. It seems fairly apparent to me that there was something fishy if the seller and the protected account were in different names. I am sorry to see you were scammed.

I am aware by now that I should have not used Western Union. I am new to the whole E-bay thing only making a few buys. I have to tell you the logos and fake web site with the copyright symbols and graphics looke all to real. Real enough for this guy to convince me that this was common practice on E-Bay. The whole square trade letters did the job. I really hope by posting this I prevent one person from getting the same thing done to them.

6887589822 is the item number used on e-bay. He removed the item once I requested information. He said he ws getting swamped with inquires. Then I get this. It had all typed of e-bay banners and power seller logo, He did a realy nice counterfiet job. Ebay itself says you should not use Western Union to pay for a purchase... There is NO way to track it and no way to get your money back. Sorry, but you got scammed.
