Complaint Review: Cristina Martinez - Baltimore Maryland

I am a former employee of Liberty Tax Services for where this supposably occured. I will go in defense with the employee. I was there I believe that last month that she was working there and I personally recall the owner of the company telling her to call certain companys and do recall him going over speaches with her for phone calls and siminars that he did attend with her. It wasnt only this matter, I also recall on several occasions the owner doing over charging to clients and trying to worm out of it when they would come complaining to him about not recieving their tax refunds and on many of the times they werent even due one when he said they were. The owner of the company was a very mean and cruel person and that is one of the reasons I myself quit the job. His son also worked there and treated many of the people badly as well as made alot of the latin people feel low after he would take their money. I also recall hearing the son call the latino people certain bad names after they would walk out. So I will defend the lady here and say I for one know how he treated her and alot of the duties he would ask her to do and Im sure she didnt realize half of it may have been wrong or not, I believe her to had been doing her job for a company that she was asked to do. This particular branch should be shut down and investigated by the BBB which I myself intend to report now that I have seen this report made by them. And to Cristina if you ever read this, I would sue the mess out of that company for slander. You were a great person to work with and I hope that they do get what they deserve from the law to the highest degree possible. Pat

This page has been brought to my attention, by a dear friend of mine. The person who filed this claim was actually a friend of my ex who placed a bid on something and lost the bid so this is his payback to me now. I have never claimed to help anyone with any such items. I do not even know where to start on looking for such things. However when I did work for the company the owner did try to teach me how to look up immigration documents and he gave a siminar on how to recieve a tax id number for illigal latino people. On several occasions I had went to siminars with the owner of the company to teach others how to apply for a federal tax id number which im still not familiar with full details for i seemed a little dince to it all but I also know that the owner of the company did charge monies to apply for a tax id number thru this company and also asked for monies to help pull immigration applications. He also asked me to collect monies and to sign things that he couldnt sign when he wasnt in the office so I did. As far as me being fired from this company I was not fired, however I did leave because I did think it unfair to ask the latino people for money to file for a simple id number thru the internal revenue service. Had I known then that this was a money market for this person I would never had even been envolved, I thought I was only doing my job as to what he asked me to do. Some of my duties encluded, Calling companys with latino workers to offer help with taxes asking them if they were legal in this country and if not that help could be provided by this company asking when they would come in if they wanted to file applications to adjust their status in the usa to not have to worry about a federal tax id number any longer, ect. This gentelman feels very betrayed by my ex and found a way to return his anger upon myself and family. I have never made a claim about having brain cancer, I do find that very repulting to even make such a claim that I said such a thing. Espcially considering current circumstances in my life that doesnt make each day any more happy. I do not appriciate at all being accused of things like this. Ive read over each link into this forum on what I can do to have such a thing removed and seems the title fits well, it is only a forum so anyone can just get on here and place accusations against another. If I was a coward and liar I would not be here defending myelf over a company that asked me to work with them in helping others. I have been set up and truly ddo not appriciate the lies here. I am more than willing to be checked out by anyone and clear my good name. I truly do not appriciate being tagged over something that this person may or may not had been into trouble for and also because they lost a bid to my ex. Thanks You very much
