Cicuit City/1st North American National Bank ripoff Dishonest fraudlent billing restocking fees and misrepersentation Veatal Nationwide
On 4/1/04 I purchased a lap top computer from circuit city,and talked into a 0 intrest credit card.I want the lap top to work wireless and The salesman said it would work and proform for my needs. Once I got home hooked it up and it didn't work so I called and after 590 mile trips to the store it could not work because thee was no broadband in my area so I returned it on 4/12/04 and was told I had to pay a $264.00 restocking, I spoke to the manager who said accept the charges or keep it.
I disputed it there and than with 1st north American National Bank. After a long run around and each company passing the buck, I contacted The NYS Attorney General, Which also recived no response. So I tryed Small claims but they are not in NY. So now they say I owe them $517.00 and turn it on my creit report and My other creditors are pulling my credit limits and raesing intrest rates from 7.9% to as high as 27% and some I owe nothing to some have balances and I never was late with a payment in my life.
I walked into Circuit City with excellent credit Now I can't even get credit (I could at high rates)I just turned both companys over to the NYS Attorney General office as well as the BBS,but I've never recived a answer from anyone How could I fix this mess and repair my excellent credit history again Anyone ever have this trouble and resovled it please advise Thanks
