Curtis Noble of www.curtisnoble.com claims to be an SEO specialist, yet he outsources his work to other SEO companies. After outsourcing his link building to my company for two months, he claimed that we did not do any link building for him. I assured him that the work was done and our link grids showed this was the case. He then proceeded to do a dispute with Paypal, which he lost, and then after a month I received two chargebacks from him for a total of $400.

We have dealt with over 20,000 transactions with our company and have never once had a chargeback until now.

Buyer beware. If he is going to do this to his outsourcers, just imagine what he is going to do with his clients.

Total joke. This guy is a real piece of work. First off, my company webtraffic2night.com never had one complaint with the BBB. The reason they gave me an F was because I kept their logo on the site when they asked me to take it down, even though I paid them the yearly fee; which by the way they wouldn't refund to me. Do a search on the BBB in Google and Youtube and you will find out exactly what kind of company they are.

The rippoffreport Curtis Noble cited was not against my company, but a company website the same name as mine except they used TO instead of the number 2. If Curtis would have read the rebuttal he would have noticed this. Either way the reason why I 301ed my website to my new site had nothing to do with me ripping people off. If that was the case why would I ever redirect it to my new website?

Also, Curtis never contacted me before he did the dispute. Anyone that deals with me knows I can be reach almost every day, 8-12 hours.

As far as the dispute with Paypal and the Chargeback, Paypal already sent the money back to me, so I have no idea what he is talking about when he says he has won. Even if he did win, anyone in this business knows that unless you can show a shipping receipt, customers rarely ever lose chargebacks.

Be careful with this guy. He is a bit of a nut job. The kind of guy that tells lies and believes them. My company has done well over 10,000 transactions this year with only one chargeback, which was from Curtis Noble. I think this speaks for itself.

I hired John Stover at BestSeoFirm.com (formerly webtraffic2night.com which was shut down and redirected to his new site after getting complaints of not fulfilling services and misusing the BBB accreditationg) to build quality backlinks to my site. After one month and negative results despite a guarantee on his website that says "traffic up or your money back" I contacted John and said "it doesn't appear any work is being done." His reply was essentially "let me check with my guy to see what's going on." Never heard back from him other than a quick email saying they were working on things. So I went ahead and made a 2nd month's payment of $200 as I do know it can take some time to see results in some cases. After month two of traffic decreasing and my search engine rankings decreasing I cancelled the subscription and disputed the paypal charges as I had no evidence any work was being done.

The "link grids" John refers to were never supplied to me. I only saw them once he submitted them to Paypal. I reviewed those grids showing links that were supposedly built. The first problem is that he only provided documentation that showed linkbuilding started in April a month after I hired him and paid him. So when I first contacted him I was right...no work was being completed. He only started work after receiving the 2nd payment, supposedly.

I was even more surprised when I checked the links he was claiming. Most were 404 pages, or were blank pages with no content or links built. That's right, he falsely claimed to Paypal that he did work by essentially "making up" a list of backlinks that did not exist.

He's right, I did lose the dispute with Paypal. That's because PayPal doesn't refund money for digital services purchased. So I went to my bank. I sent my documentation. Worked with a fraud investigator at Visa and the case was ruled in my favor. Visa determined that the seller, John Stover, did in fact, defraud me of $400. My money is in the process of being returned to me.

You should consider the source. There is another ripoffreport where someone claims they hired this guy and no work was done. There is also a BBB rating of F for his company because his websites falsely claim BBB accreditation. He's defrauding website visitors left and right and misrepresenting his business to make people buy stuff from him.

This is the very first chargeback I've initiated on a vendor. I too have been in this business for a long time and am an honest business person. You can Google me and see where I've worked and what I currently do. I don't hide behind a shroud of Internet anonymity and fake BBB logos.

If anyone who cares to investigate me further, contact me and I will provide the email thread from this guy once I disputed on paypal. This guy is ruthless.

About outsourcing SEO, He too outsources his SEO work to foreigners. Outsourcing isn't bad as he claims in this report.  Also, I don't claim to be an SEO "specialist." I'm an SEO Consultant and Strategist. Of course I leverage my time and resources by using outsourced services in many cases. John Stover on the other hand isn't an SEO specialist or anything more than a reseller of SEO services. He doesn't really know much about SEO. Many of his clients are complaining that their rankings were lost when Google caught up to the spam links he was building via outsourcers. I do have personal knowledge of this as I have been in contact with over a dozen people who have been defrauded by this guy. If you too have paid him money...charge it back, he's not doing the work you paid for.
