I am the individual who first wrote the complaint on Tim Mueller of Custom Creations. Just to let everyone know, Tim was arrested on fraud charges in 2008. It was all over the news up here in Eau Claire, WI when it happened. Turns out he got people credit cards from GE Money and was supposed to use the money to purchase the windows for the install. Instead he used the money for who knows what. When I called Winstrom Windows about a warantee issue on my windows, they informed me that I did not have a warantee. It turns out that Tim Mueller did not pay for the windows and now I have windows installed in my home with no warantee what so ever. To say that I was pissed is an understatement. This d****e I hope gets to spend a few years in prison and looses everything he has. Even if you sue him and win, you will never see a penny. Now it turns out that Winstrom windows might come after us comsumers who where unfortunate to have Tim Mueller install our windows. If I wasn't better than him and wouldn't get arrested for assault, I would break his kneecaps with a bat. But then I would be no better than him. Contractors like him gives good ones a bad name. I will never hire a contractor or sub to do any work on my home. And, I am getting ready to do $20K of work. You don't know who to trust. Even if you get referrals, it really don't mean anything. You can pay people to say good things about you. In my eyes, contractors are just there to get paid and then get to the next job.

I had a similar experience. I am glad you got your problems fixed, I on the other hand did not. I went over and above trying to work with this Tim character and ended up winning in small claims court to the tune of $5000 but now he will not pay up. Imagine that, he is a dead beat.

Contractor sent a crew on Friday the 12 of September 2008. They repaired all damage the first crew did. I am very happy now. It just took him 7 months to get it done. Other than taking a while to get it fixed, they did a good job.
