Custom Teleconncet Custom TeLeconnect Las Vegas pay phone scam ,1minute=$37.59, alexandria , Virginia
My cell phone was broken...I used the outside pay phone at the [Safeway] grocery store. Posted on the phone:50 cents a call. I put in quarters-but the phone said "cards only". I used my card. When I got my bank statement I was charged $20 and then $17.59. I called who charged me, CUSTOM TELECONNECT,...the $20 was to make sure I had funds (I was told this $20 would be refunded-it hasn't yet) I was given a list of charges - one being an "$4.99 operator charge"...I didn't use an operator. Also Safeway gets $5.00 of the scam for having the phone. Warn your friends ,family, & co-workers
