D & H Painting Cheryl Harris Dwayne Harris They ripped off a consumer by not completing the job in which was written and verbally communicated and was paid in full prior to completion based on trust because they played the christian role. Georgia
This company was hired to do a job and failed to carry it through. They had been used in the past so the family trusted that they would do what was communicated to them. They supplied a contract in addition to the owner / painter making verbal agreements at the site. After being paid in full (cash) the owenr promised to come back two days later to touch up spots that were not to a professional standard. After the owner did not show up my daughter called to verify if he was still coming back to the job site, which is my personal home.
After not being to reach the owner by cell phone from Sat-Tues, my daughter decided to call the office number which reached his wife. She made it clear that her husband (the painter) was not answering my call intentionally and they were not coming back out to the property. To my daughters dismay she asked why and Cheryl (the wife) stated they felt like they did too much. My duaghter response was you failed to complete the job in which was written and verbally agreed upon at the price that was quoted and have been paid in full. They have not responded to voice mails nor emails and I am wanting to ensure that other consumers are aware of how they conduct business which is unethical.
