DAVE'S TRUCK SHOP DAVE EGYED THIEF ODESSA Florida
We brought a 2001 Kenworth Tractor to his shop for a radiator replacement. We didn't need it back right away, so he said he would do the repair, not charge us for storage and we could just let him know when we would be picking it up.
When we went to get it, it was stripped. They had replaced our hood with someone elses junk hood, removed battery boxes, put 5 junk tires on it with hubs that weren't ours, took headache rack, straps, binders, chains, CB radio, speakers, mirrors, and much more to the tune of about $12,000 to replace.
When he was questioned about it, he said he didn't know what happened to all the stuff. It was locked up on his property, so how would he not know. Called the local police dept. (Pasco) and it took forever for them to come out to the property. They called me a liar and he didn't do anything.
Obviously, he's a relative or good friend of someone up there. Needless to say, I had to have the tractor towed back to my yard (at my expense) as it wouldn't even start. The cops said it was not a criminal matter, but a civil one.
Dave obviously made a lot of $$$ by selling parts off of my tractor. Probably paid off the cops too. They didn't even want to take a report, let alone come out to the site.
