David Cooper Loan Company Rip-off Ithaca New York
I applied for a loan over the phone. The phone call was generated from online applications I completed. The loan company's name is First American Cash Advance and the person I spoke to was David Cooper. He swore to me that their company was legit and he gave me his word that a loan would be sent to me via Western Union the same day. The catch was that I first had to show 10% of the loan amount. He asked me to show this amount on 2 Vanilla Reload Cards. I was offered a $7.000 loan, so I loaded the cards with $500.00 and $200.00. After I did this and gave him the 10 digit numbers, he told me that I would hear back from them in 45 minutes with an Western Union MTCN#. After 45 minutes went by, I called him. He told me that he needed another 10 minutes and he would call me back. He never did. Now when I call, someone hangs up on me. This is the second time I have been scammed. I did not learn the first time. I have not received any of money back and I need it. What do I do? I need help!
