Since 2003, Davis Home Improvements has been advertising prizes that they don,t give out. They do this as an inducement for people to release their telephone numbers for their telemarketers to call. This information is known to me as I was an employee and was involved in davis' deceit.

20 years ago, my wife and I went to one of those home shows. She entered a contest to win a free shopping spree by putting in her name, address and phone number. We got dozens of phone calls, from telemarketers trying to sell us crap, for years. Now when we go to a home show, I enter my jerk, ex-boss's name, address and phone number. :) They never give that crap away. If they do, they give it away to their wives or girlfriends like he did.
