DebtXS, a bogus "non-profit" debt resolution company, owned by Talbert brothers, is a bunch of irresponsible folks including crooks that lure you in by promising settlements of 27-40 cents on the dollar, a debt-free life and rehabilitation of your credit records. They are cautious enough to sign you up only after 3 months of delinquency to make sure your credit report has been spoiled by the time you start doing business with them. Upon finding the sucker, they first start collecting their fee from you. Secondly, they strongly instruct you to hang up on any calls from your creditors. You think they speak for you? Ha-Ha!

Their process of "negotiations" conducted mostly by Leah Young (she would never talk to you!) consists of repeatedly sending out faxes to your creditors - in most cases collectors - with naive requests for settling at 40%. Of course, collectors ignore those "offers" and file for suit in the state of the debtor's residence. Here, the DebtXS folks wash their hands and offer you an "independent" Legal Advice Line (LAL) that for $60 provides you with a phone consultation with a local attorney and may compose an answer to the court. The quality of both the consultation and answer is fully consistent with the fee - you may through it away immediately upon receipt.

LAL attorneys would not agree to represent you in the court, which confirms lousy quality of their service. What for DebtXS, its "experienced" staff like Joe Martinez, Jacob Hendrickson, who get promoted probably for duping you for as long as the company needs to milk you out, and others - the least of all it cares about you.

Even if they completely fail with their negotiations and your debt finally grows up by 50-100%, you will not get back the fee you paid for their "service" unless you sue them.

In general, all these debt negotiation companies work upon very similar schemes, and for those who are interested in details, it might be worthwhile reading the Federal Trade Commission report on one of those companies - Solidium, LLC - http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2004/05/ncc.htm.

Nice try "Alex" or whatever your name is. DebtXS has no client named Alex from Toledo, Ohio. So, who are you? You sound like a former employee working for a competitor. DebtXS is a company made up of hardworking individuals who do their best for its clients. I ought to know, I'm one of them. We may not be perfect, but this nonsense doesn't even come close to describing us.
