Sosa, I would like to know some details. You stated the ac adaptor, battery and mother board were replaced. What is story concerning all three parts? If the AC adapter did not work, then you would have to power the laptop via battery and vice-versa. Who and how did they determine you needed a new ac adapter, battery and motherboard? Laptop computers are very much proprietary in nature, meaning you cannot change the parts yourself unlike a generic "no name" desktop. I recently purchased a refurbished HP DV9000 17" notebook on eBay and I paid $200 for two-year warranty from Square Trade. You should have purchased an extended warranty and if you did, then Dell or the company that you purchased the warranty from, should have taken care of you. Wilson
