Desmond Gumbs, Samuel Sapp and their entire entourage of untalented nothings have been crisscrossing the country, up and down California, ripping off crew, leaving them unpaid and hiring production facilities with no intent to ever compensate them for their time and work.
Their thug mentality and backhanded "inspirational speeches" have no place in the TV and Film industry, and people need to stop working for them and realize what a poor situation their shoots are. They still owe me for a days pay, and after months of going back and forth I've reported them to the labor board. As I'm sure many others have as well.
Investors should be warned as well. They will take your money, maybe spend a 1/10th of it, then pocket the rest for themselves.
They are deeply corrupt, do not be deceived by their smiling faces and handshakes. Search their history online and see what you dig up.
Also, a Cinematographer I know was on a job once where Gumbs' bodyguard pulled a gun on the sound guy.

HI There,
I am the Director of Photography on Princeton Gates a new tv show produced by Desmond Gumbs, and I want people to know I was paid for my work and on time according to our agreement. Low Budget filmmaking is a beast many people perhaps should not get into. As with all low budget projects, yes, there was disorganization, crafty wasn't up to par, but the crew worked hard and in the end we made a good looking show. Not sure what happened on the previous show, or why the individual who started the claims are so angry. On Indie films and tv shows sometimes investors do pull out, things happen and the producers are left with the blame. There are all sorts of reasons why some people aren't paid, but it isn't always the producer. I hope that others who have had a similar experience and have gotten paid in full as agreed will speak up in the future. This kind of bad wrap is hard to live down. The DP, Princeton Gates

Terrence Hatter a true crook from Oakland California, he runs with Desmond Gumbs.
Desmond and Terrence Hatter are both seasoned crooks, they dress nice and come with wild stories and dreams. We were fooled! big time in giving them everything they asked for. We are in the process of taking them to court for a very large amount of money that has never been paid to us for our time. Desmond Gumbs is a real estate scam artist that lives in Danvillle CA or Blackhawk that was last known of. Terrence Hatter is no angel, hes a true conartist and a serious liar, someone is trying to
cover his name but PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR IT. TERRENCE HATTER IS A MONEY TAKER!!! HE LIES AND HAS BEEN TAUGHT WELL BY DESMOND GUMBS, stay clear of Terrence Hatter with any film production or business.
Hes a very low down individual seeking to take from your business. BaD IDEA!

TERRENCE HATTER, is a great guy. I don't know why someone would involve his name in such a negative article that he had know part of. I've worked with him on several projects in the past and he's always been a great guy to work with. Instead of trying to put people down especially if you don't know them. We should pick each other up. There are so many terrible things going on in this world as it is. TERRENCE HATTER is a wonderful guy, People should really think before you write things about a person you don't know..

This is a great guy, I have worked with him for many of years on different projects, I've never had a any problem with him.I don't why someone would mention his name in such a terrible article that he had know parts in.
