Just a few days ago, I was looking for a nice new puppy to go with the family and I came across a really beautiful mini Husky.
All seemed to go well with the seller, and then the transport agency e-mailed me just this morning asking for the $300 up-front fee, which the seller mentioned to me. It seemed reasonable.
And a few hours later at around 6:00 pm, I received an e-mail asking for another $790 for insurance, paying for crates, and veterinary fees, etc. It was definetely too steep, and they even called the house. I replied to the e-mail, saying how the insurance should be covered by the seller and all, but the e-mail came back saying how its just for the crates. As I type this, the phone call came in AGAIN for the same agency, claiming how it is important I pay quickly so that they can put them on the first flight out.
My father is on the phone with them right now.
This is a very depressing issue.

Don't be depressed, it's a scam. They don't really have a puppy for you, they are just ripping you off.
Google "pet airline charges scam" or "puppy airline scam" and you will see what I am talking about.
Go to your local shelter or somewhere local to get a puppy. There are plenty out there that need a home.
Don't send them any more money and don't talk to them. Good luck to you!
