I've always thought I have good health insurance thru work. However, with my recent surgical procedure on Dec 30 (tonsillectomy) and an incompetent decision by my surgeons office to send me to the ER a week later, I have a problem with excessive billing on part of Dignity Health. After walking into the ER, the routine of vitals, I saw the Dr for a blink of 5 mins, who called for a blood draw. Then sitting 2 hours in a waiting room, I left. I stand today with a medical bill total of $2,500. I called the hospital requesting the breakdown that sums to $2,500, no luck.. "that is our fees sir" so in my experience, I guess BP, tongue depressor, and a rookie Dr ordering basic blood work constitutes $1,100/hr.

I would not take my dog to this place.
They where very abusive to me as a patient, exssesive charges, I was injured while in there care I was in there ER for less than 2 hours the staff was very insulting and abussive. After leaving this sub standard So called hospital I complained and to to talk to a patent relations person all that took place is that I was referred to there dignity health billing dept they had no care what so ever and extremely rude I was also lied to about the charges. In my opinion this is not a non profit operation but a total fraud. They advertise ( dignity health hello human kindness ) in my opinion not at this place. The bottom line in my opinion - filthy, rude, abussive, and greedy Relentless vultures. after many letters to the CEO Lloyd dean of dignity health and the abussive medical center st.rose Dominican no positive response or care at all.
i hope to start a class action law suit against dignity health
