Direct Lending Agency ripoff, scam New York New York
One son in Miami found the ad for this company in The Flyer, a small 'zine that goes around with what-all for sale. He called and was approved for a $5,000 loan but had to pay $500.00 up front. After calling me regarding this, as I research these things always, my other son called them and was approved for a $30,000.00 loan within 1/2 hour with an up front payment of $3000.00. None of us were "taken" by this loser, but I'm sure many have.
We've reported these guys to the FBI in NY, and The Federal Trade Commission who handles these things. Sadly, I can't go to NY at the moment and hit em in the crotch with a moving helicoptor blade. I read the rebuttal to Iris's complaint about these guys. Unfortunately, not all of us have the resources or the knowledge to know where to look before we jump into things that cost us money...and lots of it. Hence, these scam artist live large. The rebuttal refers to common sense, however, common sense isnt common. Too bad this site isn't more widely known to the masses. I think it could save a lot of poor folks a lot of hard earned money.
