On 9 Sep 2008, Direct tv took $47.02 out of my account without my permission. They claim they thought I was enrolled in the automatic bill payment...Riiiiiiiiiight. After several phone calls and hours of my time wasted they refunded me the 47.02 in DECEMBER. 3 MONTHS LATER!!

Yesterday, 21 Jan 2009, Direct tv has taken an amount of money that I don't even want to say because it ticks me off every time! And they SAY I called an made the payment for this ridiculous amount on the phone! Are they serious!?! Clearly, I didn't learn my lesson the first time because I thought it was an isolated incident...come to find it's not!

Since I'm military and leaving the area very soon, I told them I wanted to cancel my service, and they offer the infamous, "we can transfer your service for you". Ummmmmmm let me think about that, NO!!!!!! I don't want to have ANYTHING ELSE to do with this company, and I WILL spread the word to all of my military comrades that in the end, they will get screwed by direct tv. I don't recommend this company to anyone!!
