DirectBuy Travel ( aka lifestylecollection.com) DirectBuy Travel - tricked into signing up to find out all scam & lies Scottsdale, AZ Internet
I was contacted by a DirectBuy Travel member asking if I wanted to buy into the program since I was a DirectBuy member already. I was was told that the membership could be discounts for ANYWHERE. Regardless if DirectBuy Travel had connections with them. The rep said the Travel agent would be able to work it out. After much discussion; even a conference call with the agent, myself and my husband, we decided to move forward. Well it has all been lies!! Every time we have tried to go anywhere and it is not on the website we have been told that they can not be accommodated because DirectBuy Travel has no relationship. We wanted to do Disney was a big one - nope! No connection! It's been a year and half and we have never been able to use our membership. We find rates cheaper on PriceLine, Hotwire, etc. We feel really sold and scammed. The "salesman" yes'd us on everything we wanted to hear until we signed.
