This is a lousy company to deal with . A year ago i signed up for directv for there low prices which i thought would out beat the cable company. well my contract ended in august of this year and they seemed to think customer service has to be rude and crude to people . I complained alot about the service to them from the satilite dish to the service from the sound to the picture. I was getting from their service they gave me a song and a dance telling me it could be the cloud cover or it could be that your area has bad weather.

When i did recieve picture there was no sound when i recieved sound there was no picture. I told them about it all they did was hit the reciver box a few times for my service to be refreshed.

I had to physically disconnect the box plug it back in hit the red button and take out the directv digital card and place it back it for it to refresh . lost satilite it always told me in bad weather . searching for satilite it had on my error messege error 771 for me to call directv and get the tech department.

Half of those mnorons did not know a rear end in a hole in the ground they had me angry for the first 30 minutes i was talking to them . the lousy service is part of this report i am pissed about.

The rudeness of the customer service staff they think they are above the law, that they can humilalate you and make you feel like garbage. I have finished my contract and i slipped up on some bills i lost my job and i was struggling to make ends meat . it is either go with out food or tv so i had to disconnect my services so i can eat.

They gave me a hard time about it the disconnection is not called for they said. they call me 3 times a day every day to hound me for the money i do not have . I told them when i recieve a pay check i will pay it with money grahm or take it to your dealers you deal with and pay the bill.

they call me a lier and they said i stole tv services from them . I had a african american lady who worked at the Kentucky site that told me to shut the f up that she did not want to hear my lies that i need to hush so she can finish her sentence and that i need a reality check on business pratices . she told me that i am going to go to jail for lieing and that i am a bad person that i need to be taught a lesson in manners .

They disconnected me a few times and then reastablished service what they do not tell their so called customers that they charge you a 60 dollar reconnection fee and quickly add it to the bill so they can get more money out of you. If you are a day late they are quick to have you in collections and having the ladies hound you for the money you owe so they claim.

since i had them a year ago until now this company has nothing been a huge pain in my rear end. I am sick and tired of it the carelessness that they show

people and that the rudeness they show over the phone.

I been sworn at and been called vulgar names i been called a theif and a lier many times over the phone.

I been called a dead beat and a lost cause from the females of the offices that call me .

They lie and they are disceatful in many cases . my last bill i had was 133.33 they told me that i had to pay it before i was allowed to get my services back because i made a arrangement for the 1st of the month that i will pay because i am on unemployment and i get paid they told me that they wanted a credit card or a checking account.

I told them i had neither they told me how did i get the services i told them i went into the dealers you have here in pennsylavania and paid in cash for my services that the dealer did a credit check i had to pay 250.00 in up front costs to get this service because i had bad credit and a bank ruptcy .

They told me in many cases that i can pay with money grahm and with my swipe and go card that they given me because i paid my bill in cash.i had to idrive out of my way to the next town to pay this bill and i had to wait 4 hours for them to turn on my services again .

When i did pay my bill they told me that my money grahm payment bounced. That i can not get my services back on i told them that i given the grahm code that you given me and the address apearently it was not the right code . so i had to call money grahm and get my money back they took fees out of that funds i had money grahm pay for my directv bill . they ladies claimed i never wanted to pay my bill and that i am a loser and hung up.

they added fees on to my bill now it was from 133.33 to 203.33 they charges me 70.00 some dollars for services they claimed i owe and used. part of my bill when i questioned them they gotten mad at me. then i was told to shut the f up many times and to listen.

my bills were adveraging from 80.00 to a 100 a month they told me due to service charges and fees they claimed . they cried to their tv viewers that cable is sueing them for the right for them to tax their viewers meaning big cable is greedy in many ways i told them i would not sign that law suit and i was told if i didn't i would lose my services well i did n't and they gave me a hard time they tossed in charges that were not legal they diconnected me when i was a day late with the bill . they made me pay a late charge of 3.5 percent on my bills ea ch month when i was late and they charged me a 60 dollar fee for reconnecting me when i was supposed to be blacked out as the words of their agents.

they do not do arrangments and they do once and a while wavers on the bill to help the consumer with their bill meaning they make note of that you will pay on a certain day and that if not they will stick you into collections.

they are losuy in many ways there services for starters and their customer service reps are crude and rude from the beginning. Half of them are forgeiners that can not speak good english and they think that they can yell to get the voices heard . calling 3 times a day is rediculis and i am fed up and sick of it.

As a former employee of Directv I can attribute to the fact that Directv is a very coldhearted company.

Half of the people who work for Directv don't know what they are doing and the other half don't care.

I have been told to my face that Directv hires a team of people to design these policies to fail, banking on the fact that most people will just drop it.

Do not trust this company.

the people who allegedly used profane language when they spoke with you were trying to collect your past due payment and they were not with directv. they don't call people to collect payments, they are 3rd party collection agencies who say they are directv. by the way, how nice of you to add the lady's race to your statement. wow. i have been a directv customer for over a year and have always enjoyed great customer service everytime i have called for anything at all. they pride themselves on customer service. i read a magazine article about how they are #1 in customer service. they have always been very pleasant to speak to and show that they really care about their customers. as for the problems you had with your signal, maybe the dish wasn't getting a clear view of the southern sky and should have been relocated. the cloud cover they spoke of is a legit statement. if there is thick cloud cover it can affect your signal as your dish gets it's info from the satellites in space.
