directv breached their contract an according to a lawyer online for free advice we are obligated to close the rest of the contract an pay no additional contract fees. this lawyer also had said they have been receiving several complaints a month about the same problems. directv has been persistent for more than 90 days an now wants to charge us an additional 30 dollars a month more. we paid 55 an change a month an after 1 year they had charged us 99 an change which was not in the contract deal written as 72 an change which included taxes an fees. the clincher is we were told to change our debt card number to a new number so they have no more access, an guess what, illegally they hacked our bank an got the new number an drew the amount. the bank was notified an they had went after directv an had the money reverse.
