In case you are looking for a cable television service, you will be well advised to avoid DishNetwork at all costs - even if it means doing without television.  They will not provide service at two different addresses without one's having two accounts!  When you try to talk with anyone in customer service they treat you like you are some kind of moron - if you ask for a supervisor, be preparded to be kept on hold.  I was kept on hold for almost an hour just now and then "disconnected."  Will certainly not hold my breath until they call me back.  They say they will respond to any emails sent to [email protected] I am about to test that bit of information to see if it is true.

Don't go here at all if you suffer from high blood pressure - these folks will blow your mind.  Cannot wait for my contract fulfillment cause they are getting dumped and I will just go streaming television from the Internet.

Hello, this is Dan Busa with DISH Network. I do apologize for the frustation that you've encountered while making your request. There is never any excuse for our agents to provide anything less then world class customer service to you. I will be more than happy to ensure that the agents you spoke with receive the proper feedback. Please send  me an e-mail at: [email protected]

As far as the second address is concerned, the basic rule of thumb is that you cannot use one account to simultaneously broadcast to two homes.  There is a requirement that each account is only allowed to connect to one location at a time. If you are trying to connect your service at a vacation home I can assist you with this however when you travel you will need to remove all of your receivers with you when you go move from one location to another. Another option that you have is to create a second account that is not under any promotional agreement, the benefit of this is that you can disconnect the account for several months at a time while living at the other address. If you need two accounts for any use other than seasonal use (ie providing service to two locations simultaneously) then you will need a separate account.

There's a reason they won't let you have two locations with one account

It would be an easy way for customers to set up multiple locations and just pay for one package of services. Not, in their view, a very good business model.

You could have a friend using one location, a family member(s) using other locations, ad- infinitum and even though you'd be getting a good deal, Dish would lose money on it.  They would be providing additional equipment & installation, possibly ALL the channels and getting, say $5/month for full service at more than one address.

Good luck with finding better service, read the Ripoff Reports on DirecTv and the cable companies...nobody's happy with their services or costs.

What has the Cable Company and DirecTV told you about this when you, of course, asked them?
I'm sure they'll be more than happy to GIVE you this type of service.  If not, just get a UHF antenna, mount it on the roof of your double wide, another antenna on your other location(s) and your set to go...problem solved.

"In case you are looking for a cable television service, you will be well advised to avoid DishNetwork at all costs."

BTW, Dish is NOT a cable service, but satellite.

All in all, NO Ripoff.  Let us know how just going streaming works, never tried it.

I've had Dish since it's inception and haven't seen the need to change.

Oh, and NO, I don't work for them and never have....but if you'd like to think I do, go for it.

So your rip off report is "They will not provide service at two different addresses without one's having two accounts! "

Shame on Dish, the electric company, the gas company etc.
