...It's not attitude you're getting from the Technical Support department. It's Aggressive Customer Service, where the goal is not to be nice, it's to get your problems fixed as quickly as possible so YOU can get off the phone and get back to YOUR day. If we were there to coddle you, march you through a meadow, whatever, that would be ineffective customer support, which would lead to MORE hold time for YOU. In the words of my trainer, our job is to drag you through a field of barbed wire (metaphorically speaking) because we are your Yoda, and in most cases we are the one who fixes your problems quickly and efficiently, making your time on the phone lower and your time watching TV higher.
