Most of the reports listed on this website for Dish Network / Echostar Communications are actually reports about the 3RD PARTY COMPANIES that sell the systems (and provide their own installers) than about Dish Network / Echostar itself. So I can get this straight, you said you were "owed a refund for the month out you paid when you signed up". If you are talking about your first bill, that was for your first 2 months of service. So, if you signed up on January 1 of any given year, that first bill would be for service between the dates of January 1 to February 28 (or 29, depending on the year). So you've already used that, it's gone and done with. You also said Dish Network "owed you a refund for the month out you paid when you cancelled". Why did you pay a month out when you knew you were cancelling? Any money that's left on your account should still be there, but you do need to call Dish Network soon if you want your money back, because part of the residential agreement is that any credits left on your account for 12 months are non-refundable.

For what are you owed a refund?
