The installer told me I would receive affiliate channels (ABC,CBS,NBC), and after the installation was complete proceeded to show me how to turn off the satellite to get these channels.

The reception was worse than with a regular rooftop antenna,but I thought it might be the weather. When I found out that all my neighbors had the LOCAL affiliates I called Dishnetwork. The first lady was very curt with me and offered no help. I then called Directv and gave them my zip code and was told that I would get these channels.

Upon calling Dishnetwork back the next lady said " no problem, I can switch those on for you, it'll take 15 minutes". All she gave me was 5 choices of the WB and UPN. When I called back and complained because I was missing C.S.I. they told me it was on the Spike channel. Yes, but it's last season,you morons!! I had the system 9 days, of which 5 were legal working days, and they say they will charge me $240 for the privelege of cancelling.

I say Fraud, Mis-representation, and plain old lying and ignorance. And I was charged $65 for the clip on antenna that I was never told about up front.
