Josh Meldrum and crew took off after leaving a broken jobsite where they were supposed to do a grading job in Georgia. Rocks loose and not mortered, Josh never around, workers never showing up and this guy was constantly broke and almost threatening if not given money in advance. His favorite excuse was rain. The workers constantly complained about Josh and actually seemed to hate him. My kids were horrified and I was humiliated in front of my family that I got taken by a shyster. In trying to find him I got an investigator as I'm ex military to kind of look into the kind of person he is and came up that he took off without paying rent and left a lot of creditors looking for him. He ran away to Michigan. We probably wont see our money ever and and will have to rebuild the wall. There was also an arrest for deposit fraud that the investigator found out about. I had to get some help because Josh changed numbers and emails went unanswered. I'm hoping the people of Michigan will not be harmed by him. I was told by officials in Georgia that he wasnt licensed and should have been for the dollar amount of work he was doing. Josh Meldrum is certainly on the state of Georgia's radar after all of the calls I made. The yard is a wreck and the kids still can't play outside as we recover enough funds to get the tens of thousands of dollars it's going to take to remove the inferior rock and get new rock done right with the digging and trenching and all. The workers never had the skills necessary to operate the big machinery too. This guy is a true scam artist and I'm pretty sure there is no insurance if his guys get hurt or whatever. They were nice guys, the crew, but super careless and to a point lazy. I think they had given up and were pretty much trying to keep working for Josh Meldrum to get their paycheck.

Josh is a salesman, dishonest, I wish there was someone in the company who was actually accountable and cared about what they are doing . They did an absolutely horrible job on my patio, I think they planned to keep as much of the material I purchased for their other projects , tore up my yard, did not add dirt, threw down seed and layers of highway net and huge spikes to hold it.
I had to remove all of it add dirt and seed my whole back and side yard, my windows and siding were covered is concrete. Screens sliced and destroyed, they worked very unsafe. My patio tilts extremely toward the house and is 5 inches too low there, I am still picking rocks out of the lawn after a year. They would not come back and fix anything.
The patio holds water and freezes into a dangerous situation. Josh stole an antique shovel. He was so rude and unprofessional toward me with my legitimate complaints. He used much too heavy equipment for my space. I’m sick about believing Josh and hiring this company and I will have to redo the patio when I recover.

We were also victims of Josh Meldrum, to the tune of over $12K in cash for a shoddy and incomplete landscaping job. We have since had to pay thousands to redo his work. It is infuriating and beyond frustrating. He worked for another landscaper in town which is who we thought we were hiring - he lied and took the job and we were never the wiser until the end.
At the time of this writing, we are the FIFTH victim of Josh on this website alone. Run quick, this is not a good person and certainly not a trustworthy professional.
