Do not work for DJ RonnieB or hire his company for DJ services. You won't get paid if you're the DJ and, if you're the client/customer, you could get sued.
I agreed to DJ on his behalf because he said all his DJs in the area were unavailable. (He has no DJs in this area). I trusted I would be paid when the gig was over. He never paid.
At first, he claimed he had trouble with his company sending out the check. Then, he offered to send a personal check. Then he stopped responding to phone messages and emails.
In doing a search of Ronald Beem and his company, I discovered a post by someone who apparently was never paid for his DJ services either and posted a notice on Craigs List in Chicago warning others not to use him. I believe this may be something that he has done to other DJs and no one is taking action against him.
I intend to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau that serves Wheaton, IL and am considering suing him (and the client/customer) since I have his home address. He can be found on Face Book and also on Twitter at Twitter.com/DJRonnieB.
I even called his mother to ask her to persuade him to do the right thing but she refused to assist me. If you're a DJ and/or client/customer who has been ripped off and/or if you have any other information that would be helpful, I would like to hear from you.

This DJ was paid his money as stated in his contract. It was delayed, however he is now paid. You can see he was sent his $180 via Western Union on 4/26/2010 and he picked up his money if you check the status of the tracking number.
