DMC Broadcasting of Taos New Mexico, owned by Councilman Darren M Cordova and his wife Brenda have withheld my wages. I earned 15% COMMISSION, which was sufficient income if I hustled, which I did.

I asked for my check on May 15th after a huge Mothers Day Event DMC Broadcasting arranged. (By the way, all DMC Broadcasting employees had to work on Mothers Day, and for FREE! I was there from 10 am until Midnight, hauling Ice on a dollie, working concession stands, and picking trash.)

On May 15 Brenda would not give me my check because she said a Transmitter went down and they didn't have the funds. On May 30 I asked for my check again and I was told that they still didn't have the funds. This continued all through July. Finally I had it and then I was told that it was because my clients weren't paying. So she told me to go collect from them and I would collect a check. I did and collected about $6,000 Dollars, and got nothing.

As a result from not getting paid I became extremely delinquent on my car, 3 credit cards, and daycare. I was going to school full time, and still trying to make it I finally had to leave in August. I became a CNA and it took me so long to pay off my debt. I was so depressed.

I tried to get payment from them, I threatened to sue and they laughed at me and intimidated me with their lawyers. Nothing has ever been done, I've tried contacting the Governor of New Mexico Bill Richardson, mainly because he appointed Darren Cordova to a council for Small Business'. I am appalled.

All I want is the money I worked hard for. I don't want anything I didn't make just what is owed. I don't want to take advantage, just have what is fair. I paid sitters so that I could attend Mandatory Events. There are other previous employees of DMC Broadcasting who are in the same boat as I and at least have taken them to court.

YOU NEED TO REPORT THEM TO YOUR LOCAL OFFICE OF THE WAGES AND HOUR COMMISSION

AND THEY WILL GET YOU YOUR MONEY THAT IS OWED TO YOU. ALSO, IF YOU HAVE A PAYDAY LAW ENFORCEMENT TEAM, THEY WILL FREEZE ALL OF THEIR FINANCIAL ASSETS UNTIL THEY PAY YOU. SOUNDS LIKE IT IS AS BAD WHERE YOU LIVE AS IT IS IN TEXAS. I WAS ALSO OWED MONEY BY A MEXICAN AMERICAN EMPLOYEE BUT, YOU KNOW, I GOT MY MONEY BECAUSE I KNEW WHO TO COMPLAIN TO AND IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE TO ME YOU ARE COMPLAINING TO THE WRONG PEOPLE. YOU NEED TO GET YOUR *** OVER TO THE FEDERAL BUILDING AND FILE A COMPLAINT BEFORE THE TWO YEARS ARE UP AND BE READY TO SHOW PROOF THAT YOU WORKED THERE! (TAKE COPIES, SAVE THE ORIGINALS). NOW THAT YOU KNOW WHERE TO GO -- YOU GO!

i worked in their music shop and they didn't pay me. They get away with it because the people in taos are stupid enough to elect some idiot with an unbuttoned shirt who sings ok to be a council member. Come on, when it comes to taos, its who you know
