This report involves two major violations that is company wide.
The new EZ store freight problems. The loading of the inventory from the DOT is a hazard to public safety.
Mixing cleaning and automotive chemicals with food sources and animal feed is a major problem.
Chemicals are leaking onto the foods and there is great damages. We are instructed to clean up product as much as possible to avoid the high damages that is the result of the chemical leaking onto product.
When reported for corrections, we are told that this is a work in progress and that the dispach docks are still adjusting. We have been EZ store now for 6 months with no change yet.
We are written up for the high damages when made to our safety concerns for the public and so this leaves you in a hostile work place where you are forced to clean up the chemicals and not damage.
The roll tainers are dangerous. They are not balanced in packing and are top heavy. One has fallen over on a staff member already. I myself also ducked and prevented one from falling over.
The safety of the workers is not a major concern to Dollar General. They do block medical care of injured workers who report and do seek medical attention on their own. The injured worker is tied up in courts and eventually forced out of the work place by false set ups in the systems. Money is the major reason they use because they can manipulate the computers outside of the store by remote.
Safety of key holders is of no value with this company. Just by the violation of the contracts the Store Managers have of 48 hours a week, are violated by write ups for not getting task done that requires them to be there longer than the contract calls for.
Safety of key holding staff members are also of no value. Two key holder are required to open and close the store alone without any back up to stop robbery. There are confirmed murders the last was in November of 05. Please see link below to the news report.

This is when the safety of the store money comes into play and the charges by the company is made of funds missing. Thus the fire for cause which is a set up to avoid a law suit and un-employment.
I have changed my name due to seen and witnessed retaliation in tis company. I would be willing to use the evidence and proof I have if a class action or private attorney is willing to take on this monster.
