Following up on my Lonehunt Attacks Indians posting, there's still no evidence that "Dominique Vantell Lonehunt" (possibly a fictitious name) is anything but a fraud, con man, and huckster. Until he presents a birth certificate, CDIB card, family tree, or other proof of tribal affiliation, there's no reason to believe him and several reasons to doubt him.

Here's one more example of how stupidly sick Lonehunt is: When he attacked me recently, he claimed that I claimed to be the "Native moral police." This was based on nothing more than the posting title (below).

Commentary by Buckingham Donkey Rider...For starters, I never used the word "Native" with the phrase "moral police." Lonehunt's false headline implied that I was trying to pass myself off as Native. His equally obtuse followers then savaged me as a fake, a wannabe, etc.

More to the point, Lonehunt ignored the punctuation marks in the phrase "Rob = Moral Police?!" Judging by his juvenile writing style, he may have dropped out of grade school before they taught punctuation. The point Lonehunt so obviously missed: I wasn't claiming to be the moral police. I was disputing the claim made by someone else. But Lonehunt the liar maligned me as if I had declared myself the grand arbiter of all Native moral issues.

It's pretty d**n ironic if you think about it. Lonehunt the possible fraud and wannabe attacks everyone else for being frauds andwannabes. Is he projecting much? When your credibility is in question, it's a tried-and-true tactic to attack everyone else's credibility first. Too bad the focus is now firmly on Lonehunt's Native identity or lack thereof.

At the moment, four of the top five Google hits about Lonehunt are questioning his credibility. Let's hope this posting zooms to the top. "Lonehunt: Indian or wannabe?" should be the first question everyone asks when they encounter this attack dog.

PS - Spider Ledesma IS Native American and has a quantifiable, established history and has played in the Native American community since he was 14 on many a rez throughout the states and Canada. He is a 5-Time NIAA National Champion and 3-Time MVP playing with and against fellow Native Americans Tex & Ken Hall, Ernie Stevens Jr., Clint Pilcher, (late cousin) Wanbli Ledesma, Tiger Skinnadore, Buck & Booker Jones, Joe Prue, Sonny Old Elk, Wayne Nez, Joe Hutt, Mike Davis, Kurt Schwamp, Rusty Gillette, Jon Mathias, Luis Baqueiro, etc. He is also the ONLY one to put together a professional basketball team for Native athletes to be blessed (empowered by) spending A LOT of money out of his OWN POCKET - he has put HIS money where his heart and mouth is and is to be appreciated, commended. And now, he is developing online social media, auction and video sharing models to empower the Native American community in even more ways.

On the other hand Dominique Vantell is just out to make a dollar off the Native community and it is quite perverse how he tries to define Native as being about Caribbeans or others which we the Native American community do not reject but we do not embrace. When we say Native American - we are referring to American Indians and/or North American Indians... NOT Jamaicans or Carribeans (that's just ridiculous to us). You're talking apples and oranges here - COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CULTURES.

At any rate the above article backs up our assertions as well as several individuals on the Native American National Team Facebook fan page who have publicly stated how Dominique Vantell (& his friends) has slandered and/or threatened them with flat-out hate speech or physical violence. He is a very sick man and a con's con but now - the beginning of the end for Dominique Vantell has begun.

You can be assured that Dominque Vantell Lonehunt has been targeted for SLANDER by this ring of scam artists. NCNN was the first to break the news on Facebook of this scam circle that unfolds to be bigger and bigger everyday and more inter-connected than previously thought. They don’t know exactly who broke the story so they jumped on the first visible member of NCNN they found. The emissaries of capitalist greed and loveless exploitation of their own Native trauma are all tooting the same trumpet. These ruthless thieves in every blog, interview or ‘video note’ make sure they keep the pressure on the name Dominique Vantell Lonehunt… But the real question begs… Just what are they afraid of..? P.S. In these conscious times that we live in, we prefer to not refer to indigenous or any peoples by their skin colour, out of respect for all our brothers and sisters. The correct term would be African-Caribbean, or, referring to the individual as a Caribbean national of African descent (and so on and so forth). The terms; Black, White, Red etc. are infantile and its references like these that breed divisiveness and racism. Get over the schoolyard mentality; it doesn’t matter where you’re a native of… If you are native, NCNN is for you. That’s what we believe, so let’s keep it respectful towards our African and Caribbean brothers and sisters, celebrate Native diversity and do a little research before giving us labels that we did not ask for.
