I want to start off first apologizing for not having responded sooner to Jonie's claim. I was not aware of this website until recently. As for Jonie's claim however, I keep a very detailed record of all of my customers and the following is what happened. Jonie was not our client however, but her daughter Jaclyn was. Jaclyn did receive hair extension services from our salon on 10/24/03. Jaclyn was very satisfied with her hair extensions upon installation and willingly and happily signed our hair extension service waiver form. The charges for the hair extensions were fully discussed at the time of Jaclyn's consultation which occurred on 10/22/03. As far as the extensions being glued on, that simply is not true. We do not use any kind of bonds or adhesives to attach our extensions so I am not quite sure why gluing in the extensions were mentioned. We also guarantee our work and if a client were to experience any problems, we ask for them to come in immediately. Jaclyn and Jonie made several complaints to various agencies. Her complaints began 3 months after the extensions were installed and not one of the agencies felt that the claims made by Jaclyn and Jonie were legitimate, and thus were all denied. In conclusion, we are not sure why Jaclyn and Jonie chose to make the complaints they did about our salon. However, as stated earlier, we do guarantee our work and would have been happy to resolve any issues the Jaclyn may have had in a civil manner. We have been in the hair replacement/hair extension business for over 40 years and would not stay in business if we did not properly assist our customers. Thank you for allowing us to respond to Jonie and we hope you take into account the facts that we have stated above.
