On October 26, 2016 I placed an Internet order with this company.  Their website indicated they had in stock a variety of tomato seed I've been trying to find for several years.

I was hesitant to finalize the order, because I had to send them a check or money order first.  Additionally, payment had to be made out to "4th Floor Holdings" instead of the company's name.  Only after the check or money order cleared would they would ship my order.  Taken together, all of that seemed like red flag, but I decided to take a chance and sent them a check.

My order was for 1 packet of Capaya tomato seed for $5.69, plus $3.99 for shipping and handling, for a total of $9.68.  I received an order confirmation email on Oct. 26.

On November 10 I received an email from "Missy," indicating they received my payment and would process my order once the check cleared.  A few days later, I checked with my bank and saw the check cleared on Nov. 15.  On the back of the check, somebody printed "Deposit Only."

On December 12 I called the company to find out why the status of my order, as shown on their website, was still in processing mode.  I got an answering machine, and left a message asking why the packet hadn't been shipped.  No response.

Next day I decided to email them.  I reiterated my concern to [email protected]m.  Never received a reply.

On December 15 I called again, left another message on their answering machine.  I pointed out they cashed the check promptly, but failed to address my concerns.  I said if they ignored this 3rd attempt to get an answer, I would have no choice but to leave a negative review.  No response.

It's now January 8.  I received absolutely no response from this company, nor do I have my seeds.  Thankfully, my order was a small one.  I'm sure my money is lost.  But to other gardeners out there who might be getting ready to place spring orders, my advice is to avoid this company like the plague.  Either they are dishonest or totally incompetent...except when it comes to taking your money.
