NOTICE: About the Report below.

Ripoff Report (((REDACTED))) the offending words because we found what was posted to be false. If the posting was true, there would have been a police Report. The claims were ridiculous. Ripoff Report was not sent any evidence for the claims the author of the Report below made – this could be a client that had buyer’s remorse or could be a competitor. AS a matter of policy, when a business joins the Corporate Advocacy, Business Remediation and Customer Satisfaction Program, .. Ripoff Report emailed everyone that filed a complaint so MiKO Plastic Surgery could make things right with them, .. as our program calls for our members to err on the side of the customer. The customer never responded to our request so the member business could make things right with them.. It is our opinion, the Report is bogus. If the doctor was that bad, Ripoff Report would have many more negative Reports about Dr Michael Obeng.

Please take notice that Michael K. Obeng dba MiKO Plastic Surgery (“Dr. Obeng”) has initiated an action in the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Los Angeles, Central District, captioned Michael K. Obeng, et al. v. Does 1 Through 50, Case No. BC505186.

On behalf of Dr. Obeng, pursuant to Arizona Rule of Civil Procedure 45.1, an Arizona subpoena has been issued by the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County and served upon Xcentric Ventures LLC for the identity of the author of Report #’s 972981, 976356, 1017787, 1017799 and any other messages that you have posted on the Rip Off Report website, www.ripoffreport.com, in which you defame Dr. Obeng, MiKO Plastic Surgery and/or Veronica Obeng.

Pursuant to Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure, if you wish to object to the subpoena commanding the production of documents, electronically stored information or tangible items, or to permit the inspection of premises, you may send a good faith written objection to the party or attorney serving the subpoena with your objections to: (1) producing, inspecting, copying, testing or sampling any or all of the materials designated in the subpoena; (2) inspecting the premises; or producing electronically stored information in the form or forms requested.

In this instance, you must send your written objection by June 20, 2013 to the following: (1) Christopher J. Perry, Esq., THE PERRY LAW FIRM, 8560 W. Sunset Boulevard, Ste. 500, Los Angeles, California 90069; (2) Iverson Matthew Jackson, Esq., IVERSON MATTHEW JACKSON LAW FIRM, PO Box 801776, Santa Clarita, California 91380; and (3) XCENTRIC VENTURES, LLC, 3200 N. Central Avenue, Suite 2000, Phoenix, Arizona 85012.  Please reference the above captioned lawsuit and report number.

If you object because you claim the information requested is privileged, protected, or subject to protection as trial preparation material, you must express the objection clearly, and support each objection with a description of the nature of the document, communication or item not produced so that the demanding party can contest the claim.

Also, instead of sending a written objection to the party or attorney who served the subpoena, you also have the option of raising your objections in a motion to quash or to modify the subpoena with the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County. See Rule 45(e)(2) of the Arizona Rules for Civil Procedure.
